What is Trimethoprim?
Trimethoprim is an antibiotic used to treat Urinary Tract Infections such as cystitis. Trimethoprim needs to be taken twice a day for three days. You should start to feel an improvement after a day of having taken the course.

Trimethoprim is unlikely to cause many side-effects as the course is so short, however, some common side-effects may include:

They queried one of my answers regarding high Cholesterol asking what medication I was on. I tried sitting in long queues on the phone on a couple of occasions and couldn’t get through, so I emailed, which then told me it would take 48 to read it but 2 weeks later and I was still getting emails saying the wanted to speak to me, so I rang again and got through, answered their question and they sent the medication. Unfortunately that took a month and I was out of medication for two weeks. They need a better system for these questions. Before this issue I have not had a problem and I was very happy with them.
